Amid the Venezuelan exodus, two young people with opposing life paths meet at a crossroads. Roberto, convinced his country needs him, works for the Caracas Metro and wants to stay. Selina, on the other hand, seeks a new beginning in Italy – far from her Venezuelan passport. When Roberto receives a job offer abroad and Selina gets stuck in Venezuela over Christmas, both face a life-changing choice: stay or leave? A question whose relevance is underscored once again – especially since Rocío San Miguel, a Venezuelan human rights activist, was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize for her courageous fight for democracy and freedom of expression.
