Education is anything but a given for girls in Afghanistan – in many cases, it’s completely out of reach. In a society deeply shaped by patriarchal structures and rigid gender roles, girls are not expected to belong in classrooms or laboratories. Roya Mahboob (Nikohl Boosheri) refuses to accept this. With courage and determination, she creates a robotics team exclusively for girls and young women, offering them a future many had thought impossible. For some, her work is a spark of hope and new beginnings – for others, an unthinkable act of rebellion.
