During the 2022 protests in Tehran, piano teacher Rana’s teenage sister Arezou disappears. With her ex-partner and close friends, Rana begins a desperate search through a long night that echoes what many Iranian families endured during the uprising. Haunting visions of Arezou blur memory and reality and a conservative sister deepens the tension, exposing the fractures within Iranian society and between women shaped by different histories. Filmed underground at great risk, the story merges raw realism and poetic interludes.
