This year, Doxumentale moves to Potsdamer Platz and puts documentary film right at the heart of Berlin. And we want our Crew United colleagues in the room.
DX'Hub (28 - 31 May, 2026):
Workshops that go deep into the craft — from the journalistic interview and participatory storytelling to working with archival material and filming in war and crisis zones.
What's Soup sessions over lunch where the real conversations happen: world sales strategy, mental health in documentary practice, green production. A shared bowl, an open room, no agenda.
Talks on the questions that actually matter right now: how documentaries find their audience, how festival strategy shapes a film's path, what new platforms mean for non-fiction, and how to build impact beyond the screening.
Networking with filmmakers, producers, journalists and allys— including a dedicated session on mastering festival networking and the Dx'Hub Circle for emerging documentary makers.
10 days of festival from May 28 to June 7 with curated documentary films, talks, readings and live podcasts across Berlin.
