Enough is Enough

Elisé Sawasawa / France, Democratic Republic of Congo / 2026 / 65 min

For decades, the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo has been torn apart by a brutal conflict, fueled by the scramble for valuable natural resources, while civilians are left to suffer. In January 2025, despite the presence of international military forces, the M23 rebels seize Goma in just four days. The filmmaker, living on the frontlines, captures the resilience and defiance of a young generation fueled by solidarity, anger, and unwavering resolve, determined to resist the war.
