The Blind Couple from Mali
Ryan Marley / Canada / 2026 / 87 min
Amadou & Mariam, two extraordinary musicians from Mali who became international icons despite losing their sight at a young age, have been performing together for more than five decades. Their sound is unmistakable—rhythmic, warm, and full of energy. Sustained all these years by their deep love for music and for each other, their journey now culminates in a final album and a major concert in their homeland, where it all began.

Kevienella
Musician
Kevienella, born in Fominovka, Siberia, lives and breathes music. Blind from birth, she learned early on not just to hear sounds, but to feel them – and to shape them into something unique. Her soundscapes move between electronic pop, melancholic ballads, and neoclassical elements, carried by intense emotions and an unmistakable signature.
