A first glimpse of Films 4 Transparency at the 22nd IACC in Punta Cana: Whistleblower by Marc Bauder and Wake Up, Serbia! Pumpaj. Full programme to come.
This December, we bring documentary film to the place where the conversation is about how corruption can be fought at every level. From 1 to 4 December 2026, The Good Media Network curates the programme of Films 4 Transparency as part of the 22nd International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Around 2,000 people from governments, civil society, journalism and research will come together there. Every screening is followed by a conversation and an impact round table with conference participants. Creating impact together.
The full programme will be announced shortly. Two films we can reveal today.
Whistleblower (Germany, 90 min) by Marc Bauder: three courageous protagonists in Africa, Europe and the US put their lives, careers and families at risk to reveal information that is being kept secret purely for the sake of power. Marc Bauder will join us in Punta Cana.
Wake Up, Serbia! Pumpaj: The Student Uprising (Spain 2025, 74 min) by Raül Gallego Abellán: after the collapse at the Novi Sad train station, an anti-corruption demonstration grew into the longest student strike in modern European history. A new generation dares to imagine democracy against fear, repression and the shadows of the Balkan wars. Producer and journalist Jelena Sladojević accompanies the film.
We were overwhelmed by the many outstanding submissions we received and look forward to a programme spanning Latin America, Africa and Europe. All films and guests: coming soon, right here.
