Let’s (Net)Work Together – The GERNE Principle

30 May, 2026, 3.30 PM @ Festival Centre: Atrium Tower

Event language: English

Filmmakers are rarely short of ideas for their next project, and festivals offer countless opportunities to present themselves. While pitchings are well established, they often require extensive preparation, come with a lot of pressure, and don’t always lead to concrete feedback.

We want to approach this differently. Instead of self-promotion and small talk, we aim to create a space where (emerging) filmmakers can build meaningful connections and meet people who make things happen.

With facilitated networking—the topic-guided networking method developed by Flipped Job Market—Cathy Narriman helps give chance encounters a boost. She brings you quickly into engaging conversations that combine both depth and momentum. Whether you meet someone for your project, discover a job you weren’t even looking for, form a friendship, or simply share a few inspiring minutes—we’re excited to see what unfolds!
