Mastering the Art of Festival Networking

28 May, 2026, 6.00 PM @ Festival Center: Lounge 19

Event language: English

We all recognize the value of building relationships for a sustainable career in the industry. However, networking, especially at international festivals, can be quite challenging, even for the most talented and experienced professionals. So, how do you position yourself confidently, connect with ease, and keep the conversation going? Whether it’s introducing yourself to a stranger at the coffee bar, informal "cocktail" pitching, or presenting your project in 1:1 meetings—what do you really need to know (and do) to set yourself up for success?

During this interactive session, we’ll explore the interpersonal dynamics that come into play during all types of encounters. You’ll also receive practical tips and tools on how to present yourself clearly and comfortably, so you can begin building relationships that extend beyond the festival. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to practice these strategies!
