Omega Wants to Dance in Fitzroy

01 Jun, 2026, 8.00 PM @ Fitzroy

With Omega Wants to Dance, we present a film about the joy of dancing in an iconic setting. Fitzroy, located beneath the S-Bahn arches, provides the perfect atmosphere for a special film evening, with drinks and music following the screening.

Berlin dancer and style icon Günther Anton Krabbenhöft appears in the film and will take part in a conversation after the screening.

More about Fitzroy:

Right under the S-Bahn arches by the Spree, Fitzroy is one of those classic Berlin venues—unpolished and lively. Since 2018, it has developed into a space where music, community, and experimentation naturally intersect.

Located in Mitte, Fitzroy brings together a wide range of scenes. Its program includes concerts, club nights, fundraisers, workshops, and screenings. Much of what happens here is rooted in a DIY ethos, paired with a careful and professional approach to sound and production. Fitzroy is about collaboration—creating space for emerging artists, working with different collectives, and allowing subcultures to evolve in their own way.

Media in this event

Dance has always been a tool for self-expression and community building. Following people across Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America, the film shows how movement shapes identity, belonging, and social change.
