The Yaam
The YAAM Berlin - the center for subculture music and urban lifestyle. The YAAM has been offering a platform for underground music, street art, social and alternative art forms for almost 30 years. The YAAM is an independent socio-cultural project and has existed in Berlin since 1994 - since 2014 with a location on the Schillingbrücke. On our approximately 8000m² site you will find a food market with culinary offerings from Africa and the Caribbean, a sports field, a children's playground and various bars and dance floors. The YAAM is a unique, colorful microcosm in the middle of the glassed-in Berlin city center that is dedicated entirely to social cohesion, multicultural encounters, art and music.
