Inspiring Documentaries for School Classes

Welcome to Doxumentale, a unique program offering carefully curated documentary films specifically designed for educational purposes. Our film series covers topics such as science, art, and human rights, aiming not only to impart knowledge but also to provide new perspectives. These inspiring stories encourage students to engage with important social and global issues.

School Film Program – Curriculum-Based and Interactive

Our school film program is designed for students from the 7th grade onward, offering age-appropriate documentary films that seamlessly integrate into your curriculum. Each film is selected with educational objectives in mind, making complex topics accessible and understandable. After the film screenings, a follow-up discussion with the students takes place. These dialogues allow them to reflect on the topics and deepen their understanding.

Flexible Program and Affordable Pricing

For just 4 EUR per ticket, you and your students can participate in screenings at our partner cinemas in Berlin during the festival period (October 10–20, 2024). Admission is free for teachers, accompanying persons, and students with a Berlin Pass. The flexible scheduling allows you to integrate the visit smoothly into your school routine. Just send us a short e-mail with the date, time, cinema and the film title of your choice as well as the number of students and teachers. (The minimum group size should be 20 students.) We will organize a film screening for you and your class.

If the film you would like to watch with your students is not listed below, we would be more than happy to try to organize a screening of your preferred film.

Our Partner Cinemas: Kant Kino, Sputnik Kino am Südstern, City Kino Wedding, ACUD Kino, and Colosseum Filmtheater.

To register, simply send an email to: partner@doxumentale.de

Take advantage of this inspiring opportunity to motivate your students through outstanding international documentary films. We look forward to your participation! For any questions, please feel free to contact our colleague, Beate Bjorkengren.
