Filmrauschpalast Moabit
The 'Filmrauschpalast' has been run by the 'Filmrausch Moabit e.V.' since 1991 and is located on the first floor at the back of the Kulturfabrik. The industrial building was designed in 1911 by Ernst Scharnke for the Wertheim company's property management. It served as a butcher shop and biscuit factory, among other things, until it was closed down in 1973. The building was occupied in 1991, leading to the formation of the umbrella organization 'Kulturfabrik Lehrter Straße 35' and other associations, which have since contributed to the area's cultural diversity.
